Leading developer Lovell Homes is encouraging South Wales property seekers to consider the collection of homes available at its The Mill development in Cardiff as it sets to sell out this year.

The Mill, located off Sanatorium Road, brings a breath of fresh air to Canton, creating a brand-new welcoming community. Situated by the riverside, the development is home to one and two-bedroom apartments as well as two, three and four-bedroom houses.

This year Lovell Homes has a range of two and three-bedroom homes, available to suit the needs of many prospective purchasers including first-time buyers, professionals, downsizers and growing families alike. These include the award-winning two-bedroom Ashton style home, priced from £219,995, and popular three-bedroom homes with prices from £262,995.

There is also a range of three and four-bedroom three-storey homes available, which are priced from £290,000. These offer a flexible living space and allow purchasers to adapt the layout as the needs of their family change over time.

This spring Lovell Homes will also be releasing the final two brand-new apartment blocks at The Mill, consisting of one and two-bedroom apartments.

Julie Bowen, regional sales director at Lovell, said: “I’d encourage any potential purchasers to act without delay as we anticipate the entire development will sell out this year. Those interested should call or visit the sales team today and ask about the latest incentives we have available to help get them moving in 2020.”

The Government-backed Help to Buy – Wales scheme is also available on homes up to a purchase price of £300,000 at all The Mill, enabling first and second-time buyers to move to a brand-new home with just a 5% deposit. The remaining amount is made up with a 75% mortgage and 20% equity loan, which is interest free for the first five years.

The Mill is creating a new urban village in Cardiff by bringing 800 contemporary homes to the former Arjo Wiggins paper mill site. They include 358 homes for open market sale by Lovell and 442 homes for rent – which will be managed by Cadwyn Housing Association – for the Tirion Group. The scheme is going ahead with the support of the Welsh Government and financial backing from the Principality Building Society, and is being developed by the Tirion Group in partnership with Lovell.
