Surrey couple downsize to the Holt countryside

A couple from Surrey have upsized their lives by downsizing their home and relocating to the beautiful Holt countryside, with their new home only minutes away from Holt Country Park.

Paul Smith, 58, and his wife Kate, 48, and their Labrador, have purchased the three-bedroom Clover style home at Lovell Homes’ sought-after Heath Farm development in Holt.

The couple are now able to walk their dog along the beaches at Salthouse, Cley and Weybourne as well as relaxing with a beer in the numerous gastro pubs local to the development.

Paul is able to commute to the London from the development, with Norwich only a 40-minute drive away, whilst Kate works in a local department store in Holt.

Kate said: “During our search for a new build property, we compared a number of developments in the surrounding areas but found that the build quality of a Lovell home was far superior. We particularly love the silent flooring, modern kitchen units and that our home was painted white and not magnolia!

“The thing we love about Holt is that it’s a small yet vibrant country town with all of the amenities that we require. Our home is within walking distance to town but also in a very peaceful location on the outskirts of Holt.

“David and Susie in the Lovell sales office were always supportive, communicative and helpful throughout the entire moving process and our overall moving experience was brilliant.”

Paul added: “Our neighbours also come from many different backgrounds and experiences, making the development a very diverse and interesting place to live.

“Lovell has taken every opportunity to build a community at Heath Farm with various events and we’re extremely grateful as it’s enabled us to make so make so many friends at the development and really do feel like our own community.”
