Leading developer Lovell Homes has recently launched the sales of its brand new Golwg Y Bryn development in Ebbw Vale.
The sales launch took place at Lovell’s nearby Ymyl Yr Afon development in Merthyr, where queues of people turned up to find out more about the newly available homes and to reserve their preferred property from the first release.
Located off Waun-Y-Pound Road at Bryn Serth, the upcoming development will provide a stylish collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes and is due to open its brand-new marketing suite and showhomes at the end of this year.
The successful launch saw six reservations in less than an hour out of the eight available homes, with only two homes now remaining in the first release.
Currently available at Golwg Y Bryn is two two-bedroom Gainsborough homes, which are priced from £134,995.
The Government-backed Help to Buy – Wales: Equity Loan scheme is available on homes up to the value of £300,000 at Golwyg Y Bryn, meaning that buyers will only need a 5% deposit. The remainder is made up from a 75% mortgage and 20% equity loan which is interest free for five years.
The £16.8m scheme has been brought forward in partnership with housing association Melin Homes, Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and the Welsh Government.
