When Camilla Cuminatti and her husband, Daniel Cano Lopez, bought a brand-new apartment in Woolwich, it was partly thanks to a property TV programme they watched five years ago.

The couple remembered viewing an episode of Location Location Location which featured a couple who bought in the area. This year Camilla and Daniel completed on a three-bedroom apartment at Lovell Homes’ popular Trinity Walk development in Woolwich.

Camilla, 38, a fashion designer who worked as an assistant buyer at the TV channel QVC. With an obvious eye for style, Camilla fell in love with Trinity Walk when she visited the show apartment. The new development had the whole package the couple were looking for – price, space, lifestyle, storage, transport links and it was pet friendly. The latter being particularly important considering they wanted to get a puppy!

“We were very impressed with the modern looking, stylish feel to the apartments,” said Camilla. “For something comparable in size in Canning Town you’d be looking at upwards of £800,000 and they wouldn’t be nearly as spacious.”

The recently married couple moved into their spacious 1000 square feet apartment, costing £535,000 and boasting two balconies, two bathrooms and good storage.

Camilla added: “Trinity Walk offers great value and we should know. We viewed a lot of different developments in the area over the last three years.”

Born in Italy, Camilla spent her early years in New York before moving to London for work. That was 16 years ago and she now sees herself as very much a Londoner with roots firmly laid down.

“We were thinking about buying at Trinity Walk over four years ago and then Brexit happened and I wasn’t sure we’d get federal status. But last year we decided to go for it.”

Now there’s a new addition to their household. Ten-week-old Simba, a Japanese Shiba Inu, has joined the couple and is enjoying the parks and outdoor space near to the development.

Daniel, 39, a technical lead for a big IT company, added: “Lovell Homes’ is a pet friendly company which made a difference to where we bought. There were a couple of developers who wouldn’t allow pets, so we quickly ruled them out!”

He added: “The Woolwich area offers a great lifestyle and the transport links are good and will be even better when Crossrail eventually opens.”

Lea Hudson, sales manager at Lovell Homes London, said: “We are delighted Camilla and Daniel have settled in so well and love their flat. This is testimony to the superb value Trinity Walk offers buyers. We are receiving a great feedback especially from our new residents.”

Trinity Walk is a collection of 445 new build one, two and three-bedroom apartments. Each new home has been built to maximise space and light as well as being finished with a high specification ensuring high levels of comfort, security and quality.

With prices for a one bed luxury apartment starting at £360,000, first-time buyers are finding they can afford to buy at Trinity Walk with the London Help to Buy scheme. A five per cent deposit is all buyers need and with interest rates being historically low, it’s a very attractive opportunity.
