Spooky Doors Galore in Howden!

Share

To celebrate the spooky season, this year, we decided to infuse a bit of healthy competition into our community. We issued a thrilling

challenge to the residents of Saddlers Grange to transform their doorsteps into eerie, Halloween-themed spectacles.

The response was nothing short of incredible, with participants conjuring up decorations that were not only amazing but also delightfully frightening.

Let's take a peek at some of the spine-tingling and creative entries that graced our communities this Halloween:

  • The Haunted House: Lots of residents turned their doorstep into a haunted house, complete with cobwebs, and eerie lighting!
  • Pumpkin Paradise: Pumpkins were a central theme for many, with residents carving intricate designs and arranging them in enchanting patterns. Some even had LED lights inside, casting an otherworldly glow.
  • Ghosts and Ghouls: Of course, no Halloween display is complete without a few friendly ghosts and ghouls. Sheets with cut-out eye holes floated on front gardens, creating an eerie ambiance.

The level of creativity and dedication from our residents was truly impressive, and it made for a very tough decision to pick a winner!

Congratulations to Alice and Stephen who are the winners of Saddlers Grange competition!

A massive thank you and well done to all our participants, you made it a Halloween to remember!

It's safe to say that this year's Halloween competition was a tremendous success, and we can't wait to see what our residents come up with next year!
