Popular West Bromwich development all wrapped up for Christmas

Leading partnership housing developer Lovell has announced that its popular Harvills Grange development has sold out due to high demand for new homes in West Bromwich.

Located off Wedgewood Avenue, Harvills Grange is a stunning collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes, which were created with support from the West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) on a former derelict, brownfield site, at a time when West Bromwich was undergoing one of the largest regeneration schemes in the UK.

With the development launching back in March 2019, Harvills Grange has now completed, and the final purchasers will be moved in just in time to celebrate Christmas in their brand-new home.

The regeneration of the site strengthened the estate’s existing community, providing local people with much-needed, high quality homes, and delivering job creation in the form of apprenticeships and opportunities in the construction industry.

Trish Foster, regional sales director at Lovell, said: “We’re thrilled at how popular Harvills Grange has been, with a fantastic selection of carefully designed homes built to suit all types of purchasers in a sought-after location. We’re very proud to have built upon a sustainable community in West Bromwich and are looking forward to continuing this success with our other West Midlands developments.

“New homes across the West Midlands are in high demand and our current developments are selling exceptionally quickly with a brand-new development also coming soon in Walsall, named Lockside. I’d encourage any property seekers to enquire without delay about our selection of homes across the West Midlands due to high demand for new homes in the area.”

Lovell’s other developments in the West Midlands include Saints Quarter in Wolverhampton and Lockside in Walsall, both with support from the WMCA, and Station House in Stourbridge.

Located off Steelhouse Lane, Saints Quarter is a brand-new development consisting of 151 two, three and four-bedroom homes, built on an 8.5-acre former industrial site. Located nearby to Wolverhampton’s town centre, the development is excellently connected, only four miles away from the M6 and 0.7 miles away from Wolverhampton train station, providing direct links to Manchester, Liverpool, London and Birmingham.

In Walsall, work has commenced on Lockside; a 16-acre site, formerly home to Caparo Engineering works, that is being transformed into a brand-new 252 two, three and four-bedroom home community. It comes as the first development for joint venture developer Anthem Lovell LLP, a partnership between Lovell and a subsidiary of local housing association whg, Anthem Homes. Lockside offers quick links to Birmingham and West Bromwich, situated just 0.5 miles away from the nearest train station and just over one mile from the M6.

Station House is the former site of Stourbridge police station and has been renovated into 31 one and two-bedroom apartments, including unique mezzanine and penthouse apartments, with no two plots being the same. Stourbridge is in good proximity to Birmingham, Dudley and Wolverhampton, with excellent transport links and a nearby train station making Station House ideal for commuters.

Station House and Saints Quarter are open via appointment only, Thursday to Monday from 10am to 5pm.
