Leading partnership homes developer Lovell has been granted planning permission to build 224 of its brand-new homes off South Ella Way in Kirk Ella, Hull.

Located nearby to Wolfreton School and Sixth Form College, the development has been granted planning consent by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council and construction is expected to commence in February 2021.

The new development will provide a stunning collection of 224 two, three and four-bedroom homes, with the marketing suite and showhomes expected to launch in July 2021.

Alongside the new homes, Lovell will include an open play area in the centre of the development and has altered the initial plan to enable more trees alongside the edge of the development to be retained.

Robert Adams, regional managing director at Lovell, said: “We are thrilled to have been given the green light to begin work on making these proposed homes in Kirk Ella a reality and are looking forward to providing Hull property seekers with a range of much-needed new homes suitable for all types of purchasers.

“We were very proud to hear that the Council members recognised the great effort we had undertaken to consult with the local community and how we had successfully amended the design of the proposed homes to reflect the character of the area.”

The Eastern region of Lovell already has developments in Doncaster, Saxilby and Louth. Alongside Kirk Ella, the leading developer also has plans to launch numerous developments in 2021 in West Yorkshire and Derbyshire.
