Lovell Homes has launched its new development, The Meadows, in the village of Clifton-upon-Teme, with local publican John Fletcher cutting the ribbon outside the brand new show homes this weekend.
The Meadows, located off Pound Lane on the southern edge of the village, will provide a mixture of 35 two, three, four and five bedroom homes to rural Worcestershire.
Located in the heart of the community, John Fletcher, a local resident was thrilled to support the official opening on Saturday 16th June. John has lived in the village for 50 years and is now the proud owner of the local pub The Lion and is also a trustee of the local nursery.
He said: “The homes here at The Meadows look very well built and have some lovely landscaping, and it was a real honour to be asked by Lovell to officially open them.
“Having lived here for half a century I can certainly recommend Clifton-upon-Teme as a great place to live! My children went to the local primary school and nursery, and the village has everything else a family could need – including a thriving shop, an ancient church, sporting and other clubs, and a handy recreation ground nearby – plus it’s also easy to get to cities like Worcester and Birmingham from here.”
Lovell will also provide 13 affordable homes which will be handed over to affordable housing association Fortis Housing.
A large area of The Meadows will be returned as meadow land, where future residents will be able to enjoy the delights of countryside living right on their door step.
Lovell field sales manager, Michelle Barnsley said: “The Meadows is looking great already and we are very grateful to John for cutting the ribbon at this beautiful site!
“Clifton-upon-Teme is a charming village, where homebuyers can enjoy a peaceful lifestyle in this rural location, complete with a friendly community.
“We have had a very good response and feedback for the houses and their interior finishes. There are still homes available for sale here, ranging from £152,950 to £384,000, and I would urge any potential homebuyers in the area to visit The Meadows and speak to our sales advisors.
Located in the heart of the Teme Valley, Clifton-upon-Teme is 12 miles west of the historic city of Worcester. There are many stunning places nearby to explore, including the Brockhampton Estate, Whitbourne Hall and Ralph Court Gardens.
Families can marvel at the cultural heritage, dramatic hills and ancient woodlands of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, which is within reach of Clifton-upon-Teme. Another great family day out nearby is West Midlands Safari Park.
