MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR SHOWHOME VISIT IN TELFORD WITH LOVELL HOMES’ PROPERTY CHECKLIST

Share

Visiting a showhome is an exciting and inspirational experience for shrewd and quick-off-the-mark house-hunters trying to find their dream property.

Often, there can be so much information to take in, the experience can often become overwhelming, developer Lovell Homes has put together a checklist on what to look for to ensure customers make the most of their visit to their Telford developments, Principal Point and Queensbury Park.

Trish Foster, regional sales director at Lovell Homes Midlands, said: “We all know purchasing a new home is probably the single biggest investment a person will make in their lifetime, which is why customers are demanding more and more from our showhomes.

“These play a crucial part in the home buying process as they allow home hunters a first look at the quality and style of a Lovell home and provide inspiration around how to put their mark on their new home.

“We want our potential customers to get the most out of their visit to our showhomes – and our developments as a whole - so we’ve come up with a checklist on what people should do and look for during a visit.”

1.     Preparation is key

Before you even walk through the showhome door, know exactly what it is you’re looking for in a new home.  What are the essential features you require, such as number of bedrooms, fully fitted kitchen or en-suite bathroom?  It sounds obvious, but it’s helpful to have these details clear in your mind before you even contemplate looking at a new property, and remember, weigh-up your options and be prepared to compromise.

2.    Get your facts right

Make sure you know what’s included and what’s not in a showhome.  Ask the sales executive for a specification list to help you identify the elements that your new home will have as certain items within the showhome may be optional extras.

3.    Ask the sales executive for a grand tour

Make the most of the sales executive at the development and ask them to give you a tour of the showhome, as well as having a look around yourself.  Don’t be afraid to ask questions and make sure you get the answers you need – the sales executives are there to help you and will know the development inside and out.

4.     Evaluate the space

Look at the size of the furniture. Try hard to imagine your own possessions in place of the showhomes’ – even take a tape measure and write down sizes of the furniture so that you can compare them with your own furniture when you get home.

All Lovell homes are built with the modern homebuyer in mind and have been expertly planned to meet the needs of a range of homeowners’ needs, meaning you’ll never have to compromise on the layout of your home.

5.     Exteriors are important too

Showhomes are designed to the highest specification and feature stunning furniture and all the bells and whistles – but it’s important to look beyond the scented candles and décor, and take in the outside of the home too. Check that you’re happy with the overall look of the home, as well as the quality of the build.

Lovell Homes always likes to go the extra mile for their valued customers. Which is why they offer an Inspirations range, which allows you to personalise your new home with additional extras such as flooring, fitted wardrobes and upgraded kitchen/appliances, and is the perfect way to ensure everything is tailored to your style and taste.
