Lovell supports local winter beer festival

The Acle Winter Beer Festival recently returned to raise money for local causes and we donated a Norfolk Heroes hamper for the raffle to support fundraising efforts. The hamper included a selection of delicious products, including Norfolk jams, sauces and chocolates.

The festival, held at Acle Church Hall from 4th to 6th March 2022, included a selection of real ales and cider by Humpty Dumpty Brewery, along with gin, wine, pizza, soft drinks and live music.

A staggering £7,418 was raised from the event to support local causes!

Our Regional Partnerships Director, Sasha Bainbridge, said:

“The Acle Winter Beer Festival is a great example of an event which both supports and entertains its local community. The event is organised by a group of real ale enthusiasts who put their love of beer to good use by holding a charity beer festival. Profits from the event will go to Acle church roof fund and Acle lands trust, with raffle funds going to Acle Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Rainbows, Brownies and Guides. With our development at St Edmund’s Park at Acle nearby, we wanted to help support its fundraising efforts.”
