Lovell sponsors popular Holt summer festival

We are once again delighted to be sponsoring the Holt Festival, taking place between Wednesday 28th and Saturday 31st July 2021.

The annual festival celebrates the arts and features a range of events, from food and theatre to music, fine art and more, and plays host to actors, poets, musicians, comedians and performers. The Art Prizes Exhibitions will open on Saturday 24th July until Saturday 31st July.

The Holt Festival takes place in the stunning Georgian town of Holt and this year has been adapted to meet Covid restrictions. There are venues all over town, in pubs and hotels, in tents and school halls, at the church, bookshop, and the magnificent open-air Theatre in the woods.

Main events this year include award winning comedian and writer Dom Jolly who will be discussing his globe-trotting exploits in dangerous places such as North Korea, the Congo, Syria and Chernobyl.  Gardening expert Bob Flowerdew promises to entertain, enlighten and sign books at Gresham’s Pre-Prep School field, while there will also be performances from dynamic jazz due The Jefford Brothers, The Vagaband and a play by Christopher Sainton-Clerk, a dark comedy thriller called My Other Half.

Lovell Homes is a keen supporter of supporting community events, as Simon Medler, regional managing director of Lovell in East Anglia, said: “This glorious festival celebrates arts and culture, provides a great day out, and is a real focal point for the local community. We are really pleased to be involved in supporting the Festival once again.”
