Lovell Homes residents raise money for St Martins Housing Trust at charity hog roast

Leading developer Lovell Homes recently held a charity hog roast event at its Heath Farm development in Holt where residents raised money for St Martins Housing Trust.

The event, which included food and drinks provided by Lovell, was open to the residents and the public who wished to get involved with the Holt community and explore the new homes development.

Heath Farm is a unique collection of beautifully crafted two, three, four and five-bedroom houses and bungalows with private gardens. The homes have been designed in keeping with the surrounding areas and finished to a high specification.

To show its support for St Martins, Lovell has held a number of fundraising activities throughout the year, including cake sales and raffles, with other events planned for later in the year. This is the second consecutive year that St Martin’s has been Lovell’s nominated charity.

The money raised will contribute to the development of the charity’s new 20-bed Housing First accommodation project, which is designed to meet the needs of those individuals for whom communal hostel living is not appropriate.

Founded in 1972, the non-profit organisation has worked tirelessly ever since to address homelessness and promote independent living among those living in Norwich and Norfolk, offering a range of services such as a ‘direct access’ hostel, male only hostel, residential care for mental health problems and substance abuse, temporary accommodation and a training and development centre to help people develop the skills.

Natasha Baring, field sales manager for Lovell, said: “We’re so thankful for the generosity of the Heath Farm residents and the Holt community and we’re thrilled to have been able to raise funds for St Martins Housing Trust.

The event went down very well with the Holt community and we’d like to thank everybody who visited the development on the day to show their support. It was great to celebrate the development, bring residents together and to raise money for such a wonderful charity at the same time.”

Perfectly placed to enjoy the very best of the English countryside, buyers can immerse themselves in the acres of beautiful outdoor space at Holt Country Park and enjoy miles of sandy beaches on their doorstep. The development is also under five miles from the stunning North Norfolk coastline.

Buyers will be spoilt for choice in Holt with a fabulous selection of pubs, cafes, restaurants and small independent shops just a short stroll from Heath Farm.

There are also excellent schools in abundance in north Norfolk – with the acclaimed Gresham’s School, which is private education for two-18-year olds, as well as Holt Primary School situated in the town.

Currently, homes at Heath Farm are priced from £247,500. For further information call 01263 223 497 or visit https://www.heathfarmholt.co.uk/.
