The final purchasers move in to complete a successful third phase of development

With all the plots now complete, the final purchasers have moved into their new homes at Lockside, Lovell Homes’ third phase at the award-winning Platting Village in Manchester.

Offering city centre living at a fraction of the price, Lockside offered buyers a superb waterside location, close to the canal, with a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes on offer.  Located just minutes away from Manchester’s thriving Ancoats district and the bustling Northern Quarter, Lockside followed Bramah Place and Faraday Green, with all three phases selling out in quick succession. Construction began on Weaver Park, phase 4 of the scheme, which has proved equally as popular, with the next stage, Waterside Quay close to starting on site.

As with all the phases at Platting Village, Lockside offered purchasers the best in modern day living, combined with all the benefits of traditional village values. As well as a prime location close to the water, Lockside also overlooks The Green, a central park within Platting Village.

Anne-Marie O’Doherty, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “We’re delighted to have seen the final homes at Lockside complete and purchasers move in, and it’s great to see interest at the development is not slowing down. The location close to the city centre, combined with the build quality and priced has proved a massive draw and we’ve seen a lot of first time buyers making Platting Village their home. There’s still a good opportunity to purchase at this close to the city centre location at Weaver Park and we will also be launching the next phase Waterside Quay later in the year.”

Weaver Park’s marketing suite is on 1 Garforth Avenue, M4 6JS and is open 7 days a week, 10.00am-5.00pm.
