Leading developer Compendium Living is continuing to support the local community in Derby with a donation to Becket Primary School, which has been put towards refurbishment works.

Becket Primary School, located off Monk Street in Derby, has received a £500 donation, which they have used to purchase some new benches for the playground.

The school is only a short distance away from the Castleward development, where Compendium Living is currently building a collection of two, three and four-bedroom homes.

Earl Patrick, community liaison officer, said: “It’s extremely important to us to support the local community and we’re thrilled that our donation to Becket Primary School has allowed them to complete further improvements to the school facilities.

Ian Ridgway, teacher at Becket Primary School, said: “We’re very thankful to Compendium Living for this generous donation that has enabled us to purchase the new benches for our playground. “The school has recently been raising money in numerous ways which has helped to fund a new shelter on the playground, a new reading/library space as well as new books.”

Compendium Living is a leading regeneration specialist with over 15 years’ experience building high-quality new homes.

The developer is currently working on the next phase of Castleward, which is a £100 million pound regeneration scheme in partnership with Derby City Council and Homes England.
