Local housebuilder continues to ‘build’ relationship with village school


Leading housebuilder Lovell Homes has continued to grow its community relations with a recent donation of £2,500 to Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School, to go towards improving the school’s facilities.

Continuously building relationships with the local communities surrounding its developments, Lovell Homes has worked with the school, which is located just next door to the Meadows development, on various projects, including a site safety poster competition and a visit around The Meadows site to learn the health and safety risks.

Cathryn Throup, Headteacher at Clifton-upon-Teme Primary School, said: “We are so grateful to Lovell Homes for this generous donation. “We has been fundraising to refurbish our toilets and this kind donation from Lovell will really help us on our way to better facilities. “Lovell have been so generous throughout the build of the development and included the children throughout its journey by providing great learning opportunities for them. Thank you Lovell!”

Earl Patrick, community liaison officer for Lovell Homes said: “We are always looking for ways to help our local communities and we are so pleased to be able to donate this amount to help the school raise money for their refurbishment. “The school have been very supportive towards the development and it is great to be able to continue to give back to them in appreciation.”
