LEYLAND DEVELOPMENT SET TO OPEN ITS DOORS WITH AUTUMNAL EVENT

LANCASHIRE home-hunters will have the opportunity to explore three new show homes across a weekend of Autumnal fun this October, as national housebuilder Lovell Homes opens the doors to its new development in Leyland.

Shawbrook Manor, off Leyland Road, will be welcoming prospective homebuyers to an Autumnal themed launch event, which will run from 11am-4pm across the weekend of 19-20 October.

Visitors will enjoy complimentary refreshments, a tour of the three, four and five-bedroom show homes as well as goody bags, and family-friendly activities for the kids.

Located just to the south of Leyland, the 200-home scheme benefits from a prime position close to Shaw Wood and Worden Park but is also just a stone’s throw away from junction 28 of the M6.

Anne-Marie O’Doherty, regional sales director at Lovell Homes North West, said: “We’re delighted to be launching Shawbrook Manor and we’re really looking forward to inviting the local community to preview the three finished show homes.

“Our theme for Shawbrook Manor is ‘the natural choice’ as it’s surrounded by fantastic countryside and that motif will certainly shine through on the launch weekend. As well as autumnal themed tea, coffee and cakes, we’ll also be holding wildlife craft sessions throughout the weekend and hosting a competition on social media to win a National Trust Family Membership.

“We’re also hoping that Chewie, the star of our Shawbrook Manor marketing campaign, will pop in over the weekend so be sure to keep an eye out for a little Yorkie cross scampering across the site.”

Shawbrook Manor is part of the government’s ‘Accredited Construction’ programme and will be built, in conjunction with Homes England, in less than 36 months.

Once complete, the development will comprise a mixture of two, three, four and five bed homes and two-bedroom bungalows in a variety of different styles.

All eligible homes on Shawbrook Manor are available to purchase with the government’s Help to Buy: Equity Loan scheme. Under the initiative, buyers can secure their home with a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is then paid off as an equity loan, which remains interest-free for the first five years.

Anne-Marie added: “Our three show homes really highlight the quality of specification to a broad range of buyers, giving them the chance to see for themselves what life at Shawbrook Manor would be like.

“We’ve already received a lot of interest in the development and, with a number of reservations already secured, we’re looking forward to welcoming our first homeowners in the near future.”

A handful of homes are available to purchase off-plan, with prices starting from £197,950.
