Lovell in East Anglia is taking part in Build UK’s Open Doors 2021 with a behind-the-scenes event on Friday 8th October at our Acle site to showcase the fantastic range of careers on offer in construction.

This is an exclusive chance to go behind the hoardings at St Edmund’s Park in Acle to discover the current opportunities on offer and have a tour of the future 137 home site, seeing areas that are not normally accessible to the public.

Taking place between 2pm and 4pm, attendees will be given an overview of Lovell and its operations, with the chance to take part in a Q&A session and meet the training team to talk about apprenticeship opportunities.

We caught up with Simon Medler, regional managing director of Lovell in East Anglia, who said: “A career in the construction industry is hugely rewarding, fast paced and challenging, and there is a range of roles and opportunities on offer in the sector. The Open Doors event is a great opportunity for those considering a construction career to get a real taste of what being on a working site is like.”

This unique opportunity is open to over 18s only and we are the only business in East Anglia participating in the Open Doors event.

Andrew Proctor, Leader of Norfolk County Council said: “The construction industry is an important source of skilled jobs in Norfolk, so we are thrilled that Repton’s flagship site will be hosting the next generation as they take their first step in a new career.”
