It was ‘Lovell’ at first sight when homebuyers Debra and David Porter first visited the Keats style property at Lovell Homes’ Oakfield Grange development in Cwmbran. The stunning interior and range of amenities on offer had them hooked. They quickly snapped up the property and put a reservation down.

In doing so, they were entered into a prize draw and were in for a treat when they won. As well as a brand-new home, the lovebirds can now enjoy a luxury weekend away in the stunning five-star hotel, Celtic Manor, along with complimentary chocolates and bubbly.

Debra, 57, an electronic trading analyst originally from Yorkshire and her husband David, 54, a truck driver from Cardiff chose to relocate from their home in Pontprennau, Cardiff, in search of a brand-new home with the practicality and freedom that their old property lacked. Upon discovering Lovell Homes on the internet, they were immediately interested in the Keats style home at Oakfield Grange.

The Keats is one of the most popular and sought out properties available. The three-bedroom home boasts a large contemporary kitchen and dining room which is ideal for creating a social environment. The ground floor of the property is filled with light from French doors leading out to the garden. Upstairs features three large bedrooms and a large family bathroom. The master bedroom has an ensuite as an added bonus.

Every detail of the Keats is carefully thought out to accommodate every individual need. It is perfect for busy professionals, growing families and sociable couples alike.

As soon as they could, Debra and David packed their bags and kickstarted their new life at Oakfield Grange and they’ve not looked back. Debra said: “The move has been a dream come true. Lovell Homes has been amazing and attentive throughout the whole of the moving process.

“David and I adore our new home so much, it’s perfect for us. Unlike our past homes, this one really reflects our personalities and we can’t wait to add the finishing touches. My parents came for a visit recently and they love the house just as much as we do.”

During the moving process, Debra and David used the government backed, Help to Buy Wales scheme. The scheme assisted the couple financially by allowing them to put a lower deposit down.

The scheme allows buyers to purchase a home with just a 5% deposit and 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is funded by an equity loan, interest-free for the first five years and repayable on the sale of the home.

Oakfield Grange is now down to its final 7 homes for sale, including its showhomes. To avoid missing out find out more about the final homes available at Oakfield Grange or call the sales office on 01633 730 975.
