Business analyst looking for apartment ‘upsize’ at Lovell Homes’ Trinity Walk

Having bought a luxury new one bed apartment at Lovell Homes’ Trinity Walk in Woolwich two years ago, Justin Shing now has his sights on ‘upsizing’ at the development.

The 35-year-old bought his first flat with his wife at Trinity Walk’s Phase 1 in 2017 but it’s now on the market with the couple having fallen in love with a larger two bed home in Phase 2.

Trinity Walk is a stunning collection of 445 new build one, two and three-bedroom apartments and 13 three and four bedroom townhouses. The first phase sold out in June. Each new home has been built to maximise space and light as well as being finished with a high specification to ensure high levels of comfort, security and quality.

Justin said: “I’ve seen a couple of apartments that we’d love to buy in Phase 2 but we have to sell our apartment first. We can afford a bigger apartment and the sizes of the apartments at Trinity Walk are generous for new build. We did have a look at other developments in the area but this one offers the best value.”

Location is at the heart of this architect-designed scheme with the new Crossrail station located a mile away allowing commuters a seven-minute journey to central London when it opens.

Justin added: “We love the Woolwich area – it’s perfect for us. It’s up and coming and there’s a great selection of restaurants and things to do. The Royal Arsenal area is full of history and heritage and with Cross Rail opening we’ll be 15 minutes from the centre of town which is perfect for our jobs.”

Justin, a business analyst, didn’t go down the Help to Buy route due to having a property in Australia which prevents him taking advantage of the popular Government scheme.

“I was born in England but the family moved to Australia when I was young. I came back to London for job opportunities and have stayed. My wife is away in Korea for six months so it’s up to me to try and get the flat sold. It’s early days so we remain optimistic.”

Lovell Homes’ sales drive on Phase 2 at Trinity Walk has performed well with 12 reservations agreed since its summer launch.

With prices for a one bed luxury apartment starting at £350,000, first-time buyers are finding they can afford to buy at this brand-new development in Woolwich with the Government’s Help to Buy initiative.

Jean-Philippe Gadel, regional sales manager at Lovell Homes London, said: “Justin and Elly want to stay at Trinity Walk which is testimony to the build, quality and location of the development. We hope they can find a buyer for their apartment and then secure the larger two bed flat in our Phase 2.”

Sales executive at Trinity Walk, Emma Stockdale, added: “Buyers are very surprised to see the space standards of our homes at Trinity Walk. All apartments have been built larger than the London average for new build recommendations, setting us apart from the competition.”

The interiors at Trinity Walk are also striking. Buyers can expect high gloss kitchens, with most fitted with fully integrated appliances. Each home also boasts contemporary white bathrooms suits and fully fitted flooring throughout.

Prices now start at £350,000 and with Help to Buy available on all homes under £600,000, Lovell Homes is expecting even more take up on this popular Government-backed scheme in the coming months.
