We built and sold the UK’s first affordable partnership homes back in 1972, in Swindon. In 1983, we delivered our first design and build scheme, which led to the mixed tenure housing model that is now so familiar.
Today we still design, build and sell new homes, but we also do so much more. We provide finance for land purchasing, for example, and have a division dedicated to refurbishing and maintaining homes and communities across England, Scotland and Wales.
Nationally, we have around 900 employees. Spread across seven regional teams, they build incredibly effective relationships with our clients, residents, communities and supply chain partners.
Lovell is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Morgan Sindall Group, a leading UK construction and regeneration group. With revenue of over £2.4 billion, the Group operates through six divisions: construction & infrastructure, fit out, property services, partnership housing (Lovell), urban regeneration and investments.
This gives us the capability to take on projects with a high degree of size and complexity in partnership with other companies within the Group. It is this rare combination of local focus with enormous financial strength that enables Lovell to succeed on projects where others fear to tread.
We also work with The Riverside Group in an urban renewal joint venture called Compendium Living. We have worked successfully together for many years on a number of major development projects in the North and the Midlands.
