House-hunters in Newport are being encouraged to enquire about the remaining apartments available at Lovell Homes’ popular Royal Victoria Court development in Newport, where 50 per cent of apartments have been reserved following an early bird event that took place over Easter.
Royal Victoria Court, located off Cardiff Road, will consist of a stunning collection of two, three and four-bedroom houses and one and two-bedroom apartments, suitable for first-time buyers, growing families and downsizers alike.
The early bird event took place from a temporary marketing suite, and attendees were able to reserve one of the eighteen one and two-bedroom apartments on offer, situated in Elmtree House and Cypress House. Further apartments will be released for sale in 2023.
Following the event, there is only one apartment left in Cypress House. This cosy apartment opens into a stylish combined kitchen, living and dining room, which can be customised to suit any style. Off the hall is a spacious bedroom, modern bathroom and a large storage cupboard.
In Elmtree House, only seven one and two-bedroom apartments are still available. The modern homes in this building open into a spacious, open plan kitchen, living and dining area, perfect for entertaining. Off the hall are two generous bedrooms, one of which features a stylish en suite, a handy storage cupboard and a family bathroom.
Julie Bowen, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “We were delighted to see so many people turn up to our early bird event. The Elmtree House and Cypress House apartments were incredibly popular with property seekers in the area, and we are very proud that half of them have already sold.
“We expect the remaining apartments to be snapped up very quickly, so we’d highly encourage anyone who is interested to get in touch as soon as possible to avoid missing out.”
A selection of one and two-bedroom apartments at Royal Victoria Court are available to purchase off-plan, meaning buyers can reserve their new home before it’s been built and have the first selection of available plots, allowing them to pick a home that’s suited to their household.
Upon reservation, homes can be personalised with Lovell Homes’ Inspirations range, allowing homeowners to begin customising and adding personal touches before their home is complete. Subject to build stage, buyers can choose from a wide variety of standard finishes and upgrades to select from for every room of the property, including the kitchen, flooring, tiling and more.
Buying off-plan comes with financial benefits too, as purchasers can secure the price of the home before it’s built, meaning the value may go up over time.
For first-time buyers especially, getting onto the property ladder is a very exciting time which can be made less stressful by purchasing off-plan. Although it may be a longer wait period before the property is completed, homeowners are able to spend more time saving up money and selecting interior décor, meaning the property becomes their home as soon as they step over the threshold.
Selected properties at Royal Victoria Court up to the value of £250,000 will be available to purchase using the Government-backed Help to Buy – Wales scheme*, meaning only a five per cent deposit is required. The remaining amount is made up of a 75 per cent mortgage and a 20 per cent equity loan.
Situated in the desirable city of Newport, just one mile away from the city centre, Royal Victoria Court offers all the perks of city living, whilst only being a stone’s throw away from the impressive Victorian Belle Vue Park and a short drive from the beautiful Welsh countryside.
An abundance of supermarkets, pubs, cafes, shops, cinemas and theatres, primary and secondary schools, a medical centre and Royal Gwent Hospital are all nearby, as well as the Friars Walk Shopping Centre.
