The team at Trinity Walk was celebrating last week having been recognised at the Housebuilder Awards in the prestigious Best Regeneration Category of this national competition that identify the very best new homes across the UK.

Lovell Homes and its development partners collected a Highly Commended award at a glittering ceremony held at the Intercontinental London – The O2 in Greenwich on Thursday 1 November which was hosted by Channel 4’s face of comedy, Jimmy Carr.

Judged by a panel of property experts, the Best Regeneration Initiative rewarded Trinity Walk for demonstrating excellence in improving the environment and living conditions of the area. Previously a deteriorating estate originally built in the 1970s, the scheme now provides a range of high-quality one, two and three-bedroom apartments, as well as three and four-bedroom townhouses, with landscaped green spaces just a mile from the new Crossrail station in Woolwich.

In addition, the local community has been closely involved in the project, and 67 per cent of the employment on site has been locally sourced.

Simone Dhanjal, regional sales director at Lovell, comments: “This is a fabulous acknowledgement of our work as we approach the completion of our first phase; hundreds of new residents now call Trinity Walk home. Huge congratulations to everyone involved.”

Trinity Walk is being delivered by partners Lovell Homes, PA Housing and the Royal Borough of Greenwich. It is part of a major project which is transforming three aging estates in Woolwich to create desirable yet affordable places for city living.

Only a handful of new homes remain in the first phase, with prices starting from just £350,000 for a one-bedroom apartment and £590,000 for a three-bedroom townhouse; the London Help to Buy equity scheme is also available which makes them even more accessible.
