- (“Terms”). By entering the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted these Terms, so please read these Terms carefully.
- The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.
- Entrants must have a valid UK postal address, except persons connected in any way to this promotion.
- Entrants must live within a 5 mile radius of Lovell Homes’ Shawbrook Manor development at Leyland Lane, Leyland, Lancashire, PL25 1LE.
- Entry is via Lovell’s Facebook page, with owners required to like the Lovell Homes Facebook page and add a photo of their dog in the comments section of the competition post.
- The competition will only accept one entry per person.
- Entries close at 5pm on 10 May 2019.
- Three shortlisted entries chosen by Lovell Homes will then be entered into a Facebook poll. The photo which receives the most likes will be deemed the winning entry.
- The Facebook poll will commence at 10am on Monday 13 May and will end at 5pm on Wednesday 15 May.
- The winner will be announced on Lovell Homes’ Facebook page on Thursday 16 May.
- The winner will be notified of the date of the shoot at least one week prior.
- The winner must be available to take part in the photo shoot on the date specified by Lovell Homes. If the winner is unavailable on that date, the prize will be offered to an alternative entrant.
- Lovell Homes has the right to change the date of the photo shoot if necessary.
- If the winner fails to reply to the message announcing they have won the competition within 48 hours from the time of contact, this will automatically render the prize entry void and will be offered to an alternative entrant.
- Should any prizes advertised be unavailable at the time of winning, Lovell Homes has the right to substitute with an alternative of equal or greater value. Specifications are subject to change.
- No expenses (including travel expenses) incurred in connection with the prize draw will be paid other than as set in these terms and conditions.
- There are no cash alternatives: the prizes must be accepted as offered, are non-transferable, subject to availability and cannot be exchanged.
- Products/prizes obtained through the promotion are not subject to refund or exchange.
- The winning dog will be required to take part in promotional activity as a condition of receiving the prize including photos for unlimited use in press editorial and advertising, print material including brochures, and direct mail, outdoor advertising, social media (including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram) and on the Lovell Homes website.
- You agree that we may (but are not obliged to) use images and/or any footage in which your dog appears in our promotional campaigns. You will not be entitled to receive payment for any such use by us of your dog’s image or footage in which it appears.
- The selection is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- Lovell Homes cannot accept any liability for any entries that are late, lost or incomplete.
- Failure to comply with these terms and conditions will automatically render a prize entry void. These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with English Law.
- We will keep your personal information secure and will process it in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2018.
- We reserve the right to: (i) award an alternative prize of equal or greater value; (ii) in exceptional circumstances, vary, amend or cancel this promotion at any time on reasonable notice, including varying the closing date for the promotion; (iii) cancel or refuse any individual’s entry to the promotion if they are in breach of these Terms; and (iv) amend these Terms, in which case we will use reasonable efforts to notify such changes to entrants and potential entrants. Other than for fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury arising from our negligence, we exclude, to the full extent permitted by law, all liability for any loss, damage, cost and expense you may incur, whether direct or indirect and however caused, in connection with this promotion or the prizes.
- This promotion is run by Lovell Homes (“we:, “us” or “our”).
- These Terms and this promotion are governed by English law and you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
