FIRSTBUY GETS FIRST TIME BUYERS ON THE LADDER IN KINGS HEATH.

Lovell has announced that it has a number of homes available on its Kings Heath development which qualify for Firstbuy, the Government-backed scheme designed to help people on to the property ladder. Under the scheme, the Government and Lovell contribute a loan up to 20% of the house price, so buyers only have to find a mortgage for 80% of the price and, crucially, a significantly smaller deposit.

SHARED EQUITY OFFER ON NEW APARTMENTS AT THE EDGE

The first apartments for sale released at The Edge.

Lovell has released the first apartments for sale at its popular development on the Kings Heath border with a shared equity offer which enables them to be purchased for 80% of their advertised price.

 

Situated just off Alcester Road South, The Edge is an attractive development with a mix of two and three-bedroom homes. The newly released two-bedroom apartments, which range from £116,950 to £119,950, occupy a prime location, overlooking an area of open space.

Under the shared-equity scheme, to purchase the home, the buyer needs to pay a 5% deposit and then find funding for 85% of the price of the apartment. The remaining 15% is covered by an interest free loan from the company. The beauty of the scheme is that the loan can run for 10 years, or until the property is sold if that is sooner, with no monthly repayments involved.
