The Wales and South West region of Lovell have built more than 6,000 homes, on a wide variety of schemes.

As a business unit we develop and build affordable homes for rent and low-cost sale under contracts and agreements with Local Authority and Housing Association partners, along with homes for open-market sale to private purchasers. We have also recently developed a refurbishment strand to our business, improving council homes for our local communities.

We pride ourselves on timing, quality and product excellence, and use an established consultation approach with all those involved in building and selling a house. This helps to facilitate long-term supplier relationships, and offers best value to both our clients and our customers. See projects in this region for some examples of our recent work.

Equally, we are proud of our leading training and career development schemes, ensuring that our people have the skills, competence and opportunities to develop in their roles, and deliver innovation and outstanding performance through their work.

Although we operate as an autonomous business, responsible for our own strategic planning, operational resourcing and commercial reporting, all of our work is underpinned by our wider business processes and supported by our parent company, Morgan Sindall plc. As a company we are committed to promoting positive environmental, health and safety, equal opportunities, employment and training, and customer service policies, and our progress against these is regularly monitored.

These pages provide an overview of our work. Please contact us if you require any further information.

  • NHBC Pride In The Job Award 2009

Lovell Site Manger, Paul Phillips who has been leading the construction team behind a new homes scheme in Ringland, Newport has been named one of the UK’s top site managers for doing an outstanding job at the development. The award recognises that 29 year old Paul has maintained excellent standards in the building of the 32 new homes – 18 flats, 7 houses and 6 bungalows at Ringland. The new housing, for rent and affordable home ownership forms part of a regeneration programme by Fairlake Properties for the estate. The 32 homes are the second phase of a new housing estate, with 34 homes by Lovell in the first phase. Paul Phillips said: “The award is the result of 12 months of hard graft from everyone involved in the development”. Paul will be presented with his ‘Pride in the Job Quality’ Award at a special lunch in October at Holland House Hotel, Cardiff.
