Refurbishment

We carry out refurbishment projects that transform people's lives. Ensuring residents are safe, happy and comfortable throughout the process is our number one priority.

Wherever possible, residents stay in their homes while we undertake the work. We always leave residents with a working sink, cooker and a clear worktop area overnight. We do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum.

Where staying in the residence is simply not possible, we look after every aspect of temporary relocation, ensuring residents are always comfortable, their belongings are always safe; and utilities, TV licence and telephone services are all transferred as appropriate.

Our resident liaison officers

At the heart of every refurbishment are our resident liaison officers. These are the crucial people who explain to tenants all their options, liaise with tenants and refurbishment teams, and stay in touch with tenants before, during and after the refurbishment, dealing quickly with any issues that may arise.

We want to ensure that every resident whose home we refurbish is delighted with the result. Heating engineers, kitchen designers, occupational therapists, architects, builders - they are all integral parts of the refurbishment process. Personalised design plans are produced on a computer and signed off by the resident.

Our strong track record

Our supply chain partners all have a strong track record of this kind of work. All share our commitment to the regeneration of communities. Like us, they have experience of dealing with everything from single storey homes to 20 storey blocks, from domestic residences to sheltered housing.

The strength and experience within Lovell and our supply chain partners means that we always deliver on time and on budget. We have people who can think on their feet and who are prepared to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction.
