Lovell provides a helping hand for Ayrshire home buyers

Lovell has launched a new financial initiative to help Ayrshire home movers buy their dream home – just in time for the release of the spectacular Dalmore show home at its Courtyard development in Irvine.

courtyard-news.jpg‘Match and Move’ is a brand new initiative which means Lovell will match a customer’s deposit of up to 10 per cent of the purchase price of a Lovell home with an interest-free loan.

Helping either first time buyers or buyers who have just sold their house, Lovell will turn their 10 per cent deposit into 20 per cent. One hundred percent of the home belongs to the buyer and the loan can be paid back at any time within the 10-year period in up to three instalments or at the end of the agreement.

The launch coincides with the release of its Dalmore show home – the last townhouse available on the popular Courtyard site. The three bedroom end terrace townhouse has two en-suites and Lovell is offering the lucky buyer the chance to move in with all furniture and fittings for just £194,995.

Frances Gray, sales advisor at the Courtyard, says: “The Courtyard has proven very popular for house movers across Ayrshire and the fact we have just one town house remaining is testament to that. However, we really understand how difficult it is for first time and repeat home buyers to either get on or move up the property ladder. It’s particularly frustrating for those who have saved a substantial deposit but, due to lack of mortgage availability, still cannot afford the home they want. We hope our Match and Move initiative addresses this problem for Ayrshire residents.”

In addition to the Dalmore, Lovell has a stylish selection of two-bedroom apartments at The Courtyard, available from just £115,000. The Courtyard is located in Irvine on the Ayrshire coast with views of the Isle of Arran. The development is handily placed for working in Irvine, or commuting to Kilmarnock or Ayr. It’s less than 10 miles from the M77 and from Glasgow Prestwick International Airport, a mile from Irvine station and six miles from Troon ferry port.
