Lovell was asked to make the donation to the Imagine Appeal on behalf of Jamie Sowler, senior customer involvement officer at Knowsley Housing Trust.

Jamie won the opportunity to donate the £1,000 to a charity or community initiative of his choice when he won a business card raffle on the Lovell stand at the Chartered Institute of Housing conference earlier this year.

Les Ormrod, business development manager at Lovell, says: “We are very active in Merseyside, so Jamie’s suggestion that the Imagine Appeal should receive the £1,000 gift was perfect. We are delighted to support such an important hospital which works tirelessly for children from all over the country.”

Jamie Sowler, senior customer involvement officer, says: “The Alder Hey Imagine Appeal is an incredible charity that does such important work across our region and the rest of the UK. When I won the £1,000 there was no doubt in my mind that it would be my charity of choice.”
