Affordable housing specialist Lovell has set the local under-9 (U9) football team, Hyde Park Knights, on track to success as they continue the new football season unbeaten.
Lovell is working nearby on a £13 million affordable housing development in Lincoln Gardens, providing a range of affordable two, three and four- bedroom homes in an excellent location close to Doncaster town centre. Support for community clubs and local initiatives is a key part of the pledge the company makes to the areas in which it works. Nathan Teale, manager of Hyde Park Knights says: “We are off to a great start this season and it is brilliant to see the lads train so hard together. The players are united as a team and the sponsorship and new kit from Lovell has only enhanced that. With our new match day kits, we are ready to go out there and win the league this year!” Hyde Park Knights are in Division A of the Doncaster and District Junior Sunday Football League and many of the players live in the surrounding areas to the scheme at Lincoln Gardens. Noel Adams, regional director at Lovell says: “We are keen to invest in the communities in which we work, as building homes is about more than bricks and mortar. As an organisation we look to go that extra mile and engage with the people around us. “We were delighted to sponsor the local football team, especially knowing it is a key asset for young people within the community. Hopefully we may see youngsters from our new homes at Lincoln Gardens becoming future stars with the Hyde Park Knights. We wish the lads all the best this season, and I’m sure they will be bringing home a trophy at the end.” Lovell is building 123 new homes at Lincoln Gardens in Doncaster, 22 of which will be available for social rent with Guinness Northern Counties, and 101 will be available to buy. The new housing will consist of two, three and four-bedroom homes and is due to be completed in 2015. |

The Doncaster-based football team is celebrating a new supporter after receiving financial backing from Lovell. Lovell was pleased to become the official sponsor of Hyde Park Knights, presenting the entire U9 squad with a smart new match kit.
