Considerate Constructors Scheme Bronze Award 2006 - Dale Lane, Heckmondwike

The Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards are designed to recognise and reward those who have demonstrated exceptional levels of consideration against the scheme's Code of Considerate Practice.

This project involved the refurbishment of 350 housing association properties to the government's Decent Homes Standard, with tenants remaining in occupation throughout the works. The award particularly recognised our excellent liaison with tenants, and the high standards of site management, presentation, tidiness, materials storage and welfare.

Recognition was also made on our commitment to the local community, and our involvement in a local scheme to provide mature apprenticeship training for the long-term unemployed.
