Terms and conditions of employment for Lovell apprentices

Location

During your training it may be necessary for the company to move you to any of its construction sites within the region in order to provide you with appropriate training.
Probation
Your probationary period will be three months from the start of your employment. Subject to satisfactory performance during this time, you will then have the opportunity to enter a formal apprenticeship agreement with the company.
Apprenticeship
The formal apprenticeship agreement will be for a fixed term of 24 months from the date you joined the company. Your training will consist of practical work and on-site training assessments together with attendance at college. You will be aiming to achieve NVQ Level 2 within your two-year training period.
After the initial two-year period it may be possible to renew your agreement for a further 18 months to allow you to progress to NVQ Level 3 and to gain further related practical experience. This will be dependent upon your performance during the first two years of your apprenticeship and will be subject to further selection criteria.
