Recruitment Criteria

We are looking for candidates who have a Record of Achievement which clearly shows you to have the passion and commitment to be a Lovell apprentice.

The following criteria are essential:

• Mathematics and English GCSE at Grade A* to C

• Good references from an employer and school or college

We sometimes work with local agencies to deliver apprenticeships in areas of economic disadvantage or social deprivation and in these programmes academic qualifications are not a barrier to entry.  Passion and commitment however are never disregarded.

The following criteria are an advantage:

• Full driving licence

• Evidence of participation in voluntary work, sports, and/or community activities

• You live within reasonable travelling distance of the site on which you will be based.

• Additional GCSEs to those required above 

• Foundation Level or higher Construction & Built Environment Diploma at Grade A* to C

• Previous work experience in construction.

Lovell will be happy to consider qualifications equivalent to those listed above.
