Committed to Equality

Lovell is currently in progress to gain full Committed to Equality accreditation. 

Committed to Equality is a National Equality Standard, designed to enable organisations like Lovell reach our equality potential and demonstrate our equality and diversity working practices. The Committed to Equality Standard validates our actions and is helping us to build knowledge and a greater understanding of equality and diversity issues in the workplace and in community.  For more information on the standard, visit the Committed to Equality website.

Working with our delivery partners EqualityAS, our accreditation status is as follows:  

• Eastern - Gold Standard achieved January 2011
• North West - Gold Standard achieved October 2011
• Scotland - Gold Standard achieved October 2011
• Midlands - Gold Standard achieved October 2011
• Central - Gold Standard achieved October 2011
• London - Gold Standard achieved December 2011
• East Anglia - Gold Standard achieved February 2012
• Wales - Accreditation pending

On 22nd September 2011 we hosted a C2E Accreditation breakfast with our key national suppliers to explain the importance of equality and diversity issues and encourage them to gain the C2E standard.  Similar meetings will be held with local subcontractors on a regional basis.
