What does your job involve?
My job involve the day-to-day running of a construction site. I look after the inductions of all workers and the safety of all staff and the general public. I supervise apprentices and sub-contract labour to ensure the workmanship complies with requirements. I assist in forming the construction programme and drawing up short term programmes as necessary. I am involved in agreeing all method statements, keeping all site records and maintaining the health and safety file. I am also the site's first aider and fire marshal. In refurbishment, other duties include surveying properties, meeting residents and generally dealing with any queries that may arise

£40,000 - £50,000
What will be the next stage of your career?
To continue to prove my capabilities and hopefully progress to a higher managerial role, where I will learn more and have increased responsibilities.
