Name:Matt Churchland Job title:General foreman What does your job involve?I am in charge of checking the quality of workmanship to maintain standards on site, monitoring health and safety and ensuring work is carried out in a safe manner. I must also ensure that works are completed within the timescale of the programme. While on site, I check the right tradespeople have turned up and the right materials have arrived, before going out to the various houses to make sure work is progressing smoothly and safely. At the end of the day, I make sure all rubbish has been removed and the site has been left safe. What qualifications did you start your career with?
